The Münchener Biennale aims to make its program more accessible for audiences, artists, and staff, and to reduce barriers step by step. We are currently in this ongoing process and are very grateful for your feedback on our offerings.

Accessibility of the venues

Audio description: "crypt_"

The performances of "crypt_" on 17/05/2026 at 19:00 and on 18/05/2026 at 11:00 will feature audio description in German.

A tactile tour will be offered beforehand as part of the "Was gibt's?" programme.

Sign language and body sound transducers: "Hidden Heartache"

Sign language will be used in the performances of "Hidden Heartache" on 15/05/2026 at 20:00, 16/05/2026 at 17:00 and 17/05/2026 at 12:00, and body sound transducers will be used by the audience.

KULTUR ZEIT los!

In cooperation with KULTUR ZEIT los!, you can travel comfortably and with assistance to selected events of the Münchener Biennale. The program offered by “KULTUR ZEIT los!” connects people interested in culture with a volunteer companion who accompanies them from their home to the cultural event and back again. You share the journey, the costs, and the experience, and enjoy an inspiring evening together at the Biennale.
