Tickets are available online via our web shop, by telephone or at Munich Ticket advance sales outlets. Advance booking and system fees are included in the ticket prices.

You will receive your mobile ticket by email as a PDF for your smartphone and a separate link to the MVV ticket, which requires registration to use (the tickets are personalised). If you want to use the ticket as a travel document or do not want to take your smartphone with you to the event, please print out the PDF ticket.

At München Ticket and in our web shop, you can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. Tickets can only be sent by post via the München Ticket hotline.

You can get advice and book tickets directly via the München Ticket hotline. Shipping costs are €5.90 (uninsured) or €8.90 (insured).

Advance booking offices

Tickets are also available at Munich Ticket advance sales outlets. Information on opening hours and availability can be found here: www.muenchenticket.de/vorverkaufsstellen

Exceptions to this are performances at the Munich Volkstheater, Akademietheater and SCHAUBURG Labor. Tickets for "V01CES//B0D1EZ" are available from the Theaterakademie. Tickets for "Wie das Flunkert" are available from SCHAUBURG Munich – Theater für junges Publikum. Tickets for "Der Miesepups" can be purchased through the Munich Volkstheater.

Discounts

Discounts are available for students, school pupils, trainees, people under 30 (U30), M-Pass holders, unemployed persons, senior citizens (aged 65 and over), volunteers (FSJ, FÖJ, BFD) and people with disabilities upon presentation of appropriate identification at the box office or in advance. Persons accompanying persons with disabilities receive free admission.

For families (at least 1 adult aged 18 or over and 1 child under 18), we offer a family ticket: adults €11, children €6.

Groups and school classes of 5 or more people should register at festivalbuero@spielmotor.de or via the group booking form to reserve tickets. 

Professionals in the performing and visual arts can apply via a form to obtain discounted tickets.


Tickets for people with disabilities and accompanying persons

People with disabilities pay the reduced price, and their accompanying person receives a free ticket. Tickets can be booked online via our web shop, via München Ticket (+49 (0)89 54 81 81 82 or barrierefrei@muenchenticket.de) or via the Münchener Biennale (festivalbuero@spielmotor.de or +49 89 287 236 15).

Seats for wheelchair users are located in the front row. Seats next to them are usually reserved for accompanying persons. Seats for deaf and/or visually impaired persons and their accompanying persons can also be reserved in the front row if required. MVV combined ticket

Tickets for the Munich Biennale purchased in advance are valid on the day of the event for travel throughout the entire MVV network (bus, tram, underground, suburban railway, local trains, 2nd class) for both the outward and return journeys. Tickets are non-transferable. This does not apply to performances of "V01CES//B0D1EZ" at the Akademietheater.

Box office

The box offices at the venues open one hour before the start of the performance. Payment at the box office can be made in cash or by debit or credit card.
