Navid Navab – Organism: „In Turbulence Set 2“ & DJ Aquarian
“Organism” defines nothing less than a newly created instrument: a centuries-old pipe organ that has been reconstructed using robotics in order to destabilise its socio-historical tonality. In their solo performance, Navid Navab unleashes unstable timbres that have remained unheard until now and steers them into a sonic self-organisation, traversing microsonic polyrhythms, post-rock overspill and swampy soundscapes. The project was awarded the Golden Nica at the Prix Ars Electronica 2025.
DJ Aquarian’s frenetic approach is as powerful as ever, reflecting his production philosophy and bridging the gap between fast-paced techno and a wide variety of genres.
