Some Work begins as a concert and ends as an installation. A chronological process becomes a spatial form. At first the musicians perform their customary work as usual, but they soon start to look for substitutes for themselves. Machines, installed and programmed by the musicians themselves, are used. They actually disassemble their music, in the form of their instruments: the individual parts of the instruments take possession of the entire space. The installation gradually starts to play on its own – the musicians have accomplished their task. Now only the audience has an influence on the music.
